Okay. So.
I've been in Ukraine for about two months. My Russian is functional. I can buy things, ask for many objects buy name, buy and understand train tickets, understand elementary conversations, and even participate in conversations about some topics we learned in class or which I studied independently/was forced by the host family to learn. I can use the seven cases correctly with difficulty, use ditransitive verbs, use perfective and imperfective aspects of a few verbs to convey additional information, construct simple and compound sentences, and am beginning to use grammatically correct compound sentences as well. Speaking is still like hurling large rocks. Нормално.
And I can type now. That's pretty cool.
More later. Bus.
